nimistu is free public infrastructure for investigative journalism. Every claim is traceable to a source and a date. No account, no login, and no need to switch off your ad blocker.
nimistu.ee brings together the Estonian Business Register, the Tax and Customs Board, the sanctions database, the public-procurement register, court rulings, activity licences, politically exposed persons, mandatory audits, the EU transparency register and data from 72+ public sources in total into one structured, source-cited register. Run as a non-profit. Free. Ad-free. Income comes from donations and public-interest grants.
The goal is practical: if you're writing about a company, a procurement, an official or an interest group, you should get the facts you need from one place, verifiably, with no limits, login or subscription. The same goes for research and civil-society analysis.
