Methodology
The view lists new trademark filings by EE-resident companies within the selected window (default 12 months). The window is computed from the current refresh date.
The "New directions" tab shows only those filings where at least one Nice class isn't present in the company's earlier trademarks. A class is new if the same matched company hasn't previously filed in that class.
A filing is not proof of a launch – many trademarks are filed defensively or never reach market. Treat this as an early-signal view, not a confirmation.
Limitations: Trademark data currently comes only from EUIPO. The Estonian national Patendiamet register hasn't been ingested yet. EE-resident filing volumes are currently low (~1–6 per month), so the view will get stronger as the dataset expands.
